Welcome to Albany Oregon Little League Ages 5-18 |
| Parent Orientation Everyone is invited to Parent Orientation this Saturday, March 6, at the Pix Theater, 9:00-10:30 am, on 321 2nd Ave. A presentation will be made, and parents will also have an opportunity to ask questions and get details regarding the league. We will set expectations for the league and provide valuable scheduling information. Plus you'll be able to meet the board members and managers. Hope to see you all there... Pre-Season Preparation Teams have been formed at all levels, and each family should be getting notified by the first or second week in March regarding team placement and practice schedules. Note that registrations made after Feb. 23 may be on a waiting list. Registration costs: T-ball through 3A - $70; Majors-Juniors - $80. $5 off per additional sibling. All-Star Tournaments Albany Little League had two baseball teams and two softball teams participate in the 2009 Little League All-Star tournament in Salem. The 9-10 year-old baseball and softball teams both brought home two victories in their respective divisions against stiff competition. Congratulations to all the teams on an exciting season. |

Softball
The Albany Riptide majors softball team poses here after its first place finish at a District 7 tournament on April 25-26, 2009. The other majors team from Albany, the Force, finished third. At another tournament in May, the Force came in second and the Riptide were third. The Riptide have gone 21-4 this year.
