Welcome to Albany Little
League!
Important Information For Everyone To Read!
We are trying to get everything ready to qualify the kids for All-Stars and need this info reported tonight!
I have been asked to inform all the Managers so you may inform your parents that any costs for All-Stars transportation are not covered by the league until and unless the team wins state and progresses to Western Region and needs to travel outside the state. This would only happen for the 11/12 year-old team. The league does provide a new shirt and hat as the All-Star uniform. All other costs will be covered by the parents, just like regular season. Our softball families have been interleaguing with Salem all season and have not had any of their transportation costs covered. It is an unfortunate part of the game that travel is required at times and the rising cost of gas is obviously out of my hands. Many families are willing to carpool and this does help. Major BB 11/12 year-olds will be hosted in Corvallis, all other games will be hosted in Salem.
Please remember the teams that are available for tryouts are 9/10, 10/11, and Majors 11/12. 9-11 year olds that played Majors are eligible for any team based on their age level, but only players that played Majors may try out for the 11/12 team, 11 year-olds that played in 3A may only play on the 10/11 team. All players must have attended one preseason evaluation and must attend one post season evaluation, Sunday, June 15 at 3pm at Timber-Linn Park. I know that that’s Father’s day but Little League Inc sets the date not us and it’s always June 15th.
All players must have participated in 60% of the scheduled games that means for 3ABB and 3ASB each player must have played in 8 games of the 13 you had scheduled and for Majors BB each player must have played in 9 games of the 15 you had scheduled and the team must have legally completed 12 games. That means you had a minimum of 9 players in the game and completed a minimum of 4 innings.
Also ALL scorebooks need to be turned in to me no later than Sunday, June 15th. If you can’t drop them off at the evaluations please call me to make arrangements for me to pick up your scorebooks (926-0499 or 286-0171).

Smith need to be Smith, Jill and Smith, Joey not Smith, J.
